Itís never easy to categorize any band into a certain genre, but the four members of Fantastic Mammals have made it damn near impossible. The young Chicago-land based group has been perfecting their mix of synth-based, swirling, dynamic, and high energy brand of indie rock for a little over a year now. Their delightfully eclectic mix of driving bass, punk drumming, masterful guitar, synth, piano, and dueling vocals create an unheard of brand of pop music.

We are a 3 piece pop-punk/alternative band coming out of the local Richmond scene. We are all heading out of our Freshman year this summer. As a band we have played numerous venues including Alley Katz, Richmond Ice Zone, The Camel, The Woodpecker Lodge, and The Canal Club. When not playing club venues we play parties and other events. We are planning an East Coast tour by the summer of 2010. We are a D.I.Y. band, and we are unsigned as is. We have been planning a debut album to be recorded this summer. We recently recorded our debut demo entitled "We Need Booster Seats." We have been told our performances are full of energy and humor.
