I been doin music for about 2 months. Right now its a just for fun kind of thing. Ive always enjoyed music, had a mic and some knowledge of computers and just started playing around with it. I know the quality is a little low, in the process of upgrading, and there can always be approvements. I look forward to the feedback and hope you all enjoy the song. Thanks. Being from Washington, it's very common to be associated with rain, computers, and crappy sports teams, however, The Resiliency Year is my attempt to get electro/pop some kudos in the northwest. In case you were wondering, The "Resiliency" Year basically refers to 2009 as potentially being a "comeback year." Just for the world in general. I record all of my songs in my laundry room, which is kind of weird, I know. It's nice and quiet, and the home PC is here, so I can work on recording, while having access to my Myspace page (which I spend way too much time on =P).
Currently, I haven't played any live shows. I'm hoping to in the summer of 2010.

Quintessence of Versatility was founded in late 2008 and found a stable line-up early 2009. Sensitive to sounds of the current Deathcore wave and it's relative monotony, the group decided to embark on an musical attempt whose aim is to transcend the genre and to open it's barriers in combining it with elements different, or even quirky.
We started this two-man-band in 2007 when the member of a previous Death Metal band we both played in decided not to show up to practice, we were bored, had instruments and a recording program in front of us. We started as a joke grindcore band, influencing from The Locust, our band name was The Health Express, we released a 12 song demo in the summer of 2007. Two years later, bored again, we decided to start back up, but be a serious band. We released a 2nd demo on the Health Express moniker. Deciding after that, that our band name was less serious sounding than need be, we changed it to Woven. We are currently recording our debut EP, and we will have a split album that will be released on Kapustin Yar Records.

D-Lux, also known as Young D, was born 1989 on North Capitol St Southeast Washington DC, raised in the Longreach area of Columbia, MD. Music has always been a passion for D-Lux as he was heavily influenced as a child. Although he was not able to witness the rise and shine of many of his favorite artist, D-Lux was always influenced by older Hip Hop legends such as 2Pac, Big L, Eazy E, Biggie, Q-Tip, Mos Def, Mobb Deep, & Ice Cube. He grew up listening to these artist as well as artist of his lifetime such as Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z, NAS, Fabolous, Cassidy, DMX, Jadakiss, Three 6 Mafia, 50 Cent, Young Jeezy, Kanye West, TI, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, and many others. Around age 16, D-Lux began to think about what it was he wanted to do with his life. It wasn't until he arrived on campus at Bowie State University in 2007 that he finally decided that he wanted to go all out with his music career. Before college, D-Lux had been rapping and making tracks, getting spins around his neighborhood but it was all for fun. He was in a group named the Frontline Souljahs which featured himself, his brother Talentz, and longtime friend Duece Uno. When D-Lux checked in at Bowie State, he met two other people who shared the same passion for music as he did. Jsmooth of Clinton, MD, and FRESH of Southern Ave Southeast Washington DC created a group called the Bonafied Hustlaz and later formed with Frontline Souljahs to create the Bonafied Souljahs. The name would later be changed to Fly-N-Flashy Entertainment. It's the will power of D-Lux himself and the motivation from his family and friends that keeps D-Lux in pursuit of his dream. He never wanted to be labeled as one of those individuals who grow up, get a job, and hate it but keep it because it pays the bills, even though they cant stand to be there each and every day. He knows that everyday in the work place will not always be a happy one but should always be a place at which you would want to be. D-Lux hopes to one day be an inspiring Hip-Hop artist and have his music heard worldwide by millions and millions of fans. He can currently still be found on campus at Bowie State University. D-Lux has dropped multiple mixtapes through the course of the last 2 years. His most recent project, "Up & Comin Vol. 3:Deep Sleep The Mixtape", is hosted by A&R Drekz. A&R Drekz is one of the many promoters and DJ's D-Lux has worked with, this one hailing all the way from New South Wales, Austrailia. The Vol. 3 Mixtape, available on datpiff.com, is the prelude to D-Lux's October 09 Album, "The Rude Awakening". The track "Hit em Up" featuring Sun of G-Unit South/Interscope Records, is a featured single off the LP. D-Lux has also worked with DJ's such as DJ Femme Sierra Donna of Coast2Coast Mixtapes on future projects available during the 09.D-Lux just recently did an interview with XXL Magazine, so be on the lookout and stay posted for the drop off that very issue scheduled for Feb. 2nd, 2010

Waiting For Rebecca, a two piece Band made up off two 16 year olds. Created around House and Rock Melodies, was started in the fall of 2008 as a solo prject by Hamilton Goff (lead singer/programmer) who later added Carter BurkHart (backup/main guitar) to fill in the missing pieces. We take no direct influence, rather just play comes to mind. All recording is done at Goff's Homestudio, and have been branches their music throught the myspace social networking.
We have been a 3-piece band since 2005, and a 4-piece band since 2008. We all went to the same high school. We were all in the marching band there. We have several strange connections to each other that have absolutely nothing to do with music. Sometimes they freak us out. Sometimes they inspire us. The music we play is meant to be optimistically and emotionally enjoyed. Every song should be interpreted as you see fit, and should be used to enhance your life. We are obsessed with creating songs that can be FELT, as opposed to just merely listened to. We hope that our music can serve it's intended purpose for you. Keep it real!
Juggalo MC from Southcentral LA, been making music for a little over a year. Got final push into making music by Nero Da Tres Six. At first, I made mainstream sounding generic rap, but then I embraced the dark side of me that I have had buried deep inside of myself since I was young to help deal with the stress that this harsh world can bring. Even though the quality of the music is a bit low due to simple equipment and programs, my fans seem to enjoy the music. Which is perfect because I enjoy making it. After playing coffee shops and regularily on second life a web based community Chance released his first album Whispering Shadows in 2009 containing the track "To You" which hit number 1 on aiiradio.net's top 40 list after only a few weeks of airplay flying straight to the top. In 2003 Killah Boodah (the front man for the group) started by performing a capella in high school, at he time he was just a young punk from fernley. Killa boodah recorded his first 3 songs, Party Like Boodah, Nothing Left, & Double Barrel Execution in 2004. w0rriaz began in 2005 after the fallout of the never-realized Seven-Sin Clan. As Killah B00dah looked away from his own Juggalo lifestyle and focused his already all-too Anarchistic view of the world, He began work with Professor Ah'Gy the Scholar on what would become the inception of what all this is now. Not too long after, The Technomancer recruited the styles of The Incredible Tonerz, who holds true to the practices of Anonymous. For 2 years, these three worked to build a suitable catalog of material worthy for the listening public. Though when they finally began work on producing live shows they received a new w0rriah The Don of Rhyme. And for a time, it was good. Then Professor Ah'Gy grew tired of The Left Armpit of the US (as all do) and amicably left the group to pursue more schooling abroad. This forced the group to take this ever more seriously. In preparation of their show in May of 2009 they actively sought more individuals to join up with the group as they decided to be a Hydra. Being blessed with three new faces; Big Frank the Deacon whose freestyle trumps all. Krizeck Spliffz who moonlights as a IJ (Internet Jockey) for Psychopathic Internet Radio and Lil Roach the young anarchist from the desert. w0rriaz is an ever evolving cell of artists, who welcome every style and idea, that doesn't perpetuate the ideas of main stream hip hop.

Show (Zachary Kirby) is a rapper/songwriter from Denton,Tx (S.E.D) SouthEast Denton. Born March 8, 1990. Show grew up surrounded by all type of music from R&B to southern rock, but his favorite has always been rap for as long as he can remember. ìI just like the way you can express yourself, and not have to censor your thoughts or emotions through the music. Also that it doesnít always have to be about sad moments or violence. It can be about anything youíve been through or felt.î Show's biggest influences come from rap and R&B from Lil'Wayne to Usher. In the year 2004 at only fourteen years old Show wrote his very first song. Although it was in 2005 when Show released his first recorded song. Which was in fact was not his greatest song. So he took some time and wrote a new song. Which came shortly after experiencing a life altering event that changed the way he thought of life. It was titled ìI'm Thankfulî The song hit big with his local peers and he soon began his purist on what he finally realized he was meant to do. From there on in he stayed working hard and steady trying to master his craft.
A scruffy bunch of youngsters that play the blues with unparalleled skill. They do something and Iím not a hundred percent what it is but they do it well and it certainly makes me like them. I seriously struggle to pigeon hole it and place my finger where it needs to be. Is it the vocals? Certainly unique and more singing than actual shouting or talking with zeal. Whatís the French for Va Va Voom? Clearly a winner with everybody the under 18s crowd loved them like we used to love Iggy. The new generation has spoken.
